These terms govern your use of the TowMate app and the recovery services booked through it. By booking a job you agree to them.
The service
TowMate connects drivers of broken-down vehicles with independent, vetted recovery partners. Partners perform the recovery under their own trading terms; TowMate is not the operator of the recovery vehicle.
Booking and pricing
Prices are quoted before you approve. Roadside jobs are fixed price. Recovery includes 10 miles; further miles are £2.50 each. A night surcharge of 25% applies between 22:00 and 06:00. Motorway callouts add £50. All prices include VAT at 20%.
Payment
Your card is authorised at booking and captured on completion. A £15 fee may apply if you cancel after a partner has accepted your job.
Your responsibilities
- Make sure the vehicle details you enter are accurate.
- Stay in a safe place while waiting for your driver.
- Follow your driver's safety instructions on site.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
